Spirited Reindeer!

Happy Monday everyone! It's Rosie here today to share my latest card for 7 Kids College Fund. Before I get to my card, I wanted to remind you that you still have 9 more days to enter our current ANYTHING GOES Challenge on Challenge Blog! Be sure to link up for a chance at winning a $20 gift certificate to the 7 Kids College Fund Store!!

I decided to break from my norm and make a card using several fabulous dies I've recently purchased from the 7 Kids College Fund Store! I've been on a bit of a spending spree, haha! There is no coloring on this card. Just dies, decorative chipboard, and patterned paper.

The deer and star flourish are some of the new dies I bought. The word "merry" is from the Stamping Bella TT Pamela the Poinsettia Stamp Set. The word "Christmas" is part a chipboard set that I don't see in the store anymore, but you can use the one I linked below. I just cut it apart, colored it red, and added Clear Wink of Stella Glitter. The houses and mini trees were part of some pattered paper in my stash that I cut apart.

Santa Claus is coming to Town

Happy Saturday!

I hope everyone has some great plans for the weekend!  Today I would like to share a card I made using Pion Design The Night Before Christmas. The santa in the frame is an image cut from the paper. I added frantage to the papers and used Tim Holtz distress ink Tea Dye on the edges of the paper. This gives the card a nice vintage look.

Please see below the other goodies I used to create my card:
Wycinanka Chipboard - deer and deer heart border
Prima Christmas Flowers
Ribbon
Lace
Idea-Ology Pen Nibs from Tim Holtz
Bling

Old Fashion Christmas

Greetings,

Where did October go! I was out shopping last night and couldn't believe the store I was in was playing Christmas music. Really?  So with that said it is time to get going on your Christmas cards, tags and projects.  I wasn't really sure I liked this collection but once I started working with it I fell in love with it. So if you love an old fashion Christmas style this collection is for you.

I  have some lovely crafty goodies I used from the Prima Sweet Peppermint Collection. I chose to create a tag using the 6 x 6 paper pad. I used the Santa Photo from the Ephemera Card stock Die CutsDecember 25th came from the Chipboard and more, and the other pieces I cut out were from the actual paper pad. To embellish my tag: Say it with CrystalsFirst Snow Fall Flower, Snow Roses, and Underneath the Christmas Tree Flowers (the waxed string and pom pom trim were from my stash. To add a little texture and interest I added snow to the edges of the tag and flowers.

Don't forget to join our challenge! You could be the lucky winner of the $20 Gift Certificate.

Fancy Edges with Penny Black Die

Hi I sure hope you recovered from the weekend, I still think it is Monday since I was gone a few days. Too much fun now I am dragging. But I had a fun weekend.

I want to show you a simple card I made in 40 minutes using Border Edgers die from Penny Black, 1 sheet of 6x6 paper from Greetings from The North Pole by Pion Design, 2 Wycinanka Chipboards and Wild Orchid Craft flowers which should arrive to our store soon.

I cut at a angle with the Penny Black edge die to make this beautiful edge. I just matched up the papers in layers with the embellishments to complete the card.

The inside is a sentiment I stamped using Yuletide Wishes from Penny Black and a piece of the Pion paper

Here is the card closed to you can get a glimpse of the paper print which repeats in a smaller size on the front where the swirly edge is.  I just used the same papers and added a bit of lace, flowers and Frantaged chipboard.

Here is the closer look of the chipboard, the one on the bottom right is a Marine blue snowstar and then the ivory Christmas tree. I also adorned it with WOC flowers and Prima embellishment berries.

See it is so easy and not complicated to make a fancy card with the border edger die from Penny Black.  Everything on my card is in our store and I linked it all for you. Enjoy the rest of your day

Pion Santa's

Hello and welcome to our design team challenge blog. I hope your Friday is going well.  I am on my way to MN for my daughter-in-law's baby shower this weekend. All her relatives have not seen her pregnant, she is a very small person with a beach ball in front, so adorable.  This is their first baby and it is a girl!!

I have a crafty friend Christina that makes the most beautiful cards using the Pion Design Papers on this link and I really wanted to show you them.

We all want her card for Christmas as she highlights the Santa's from the paper. They are so vintage and bring back happy memories from the past. I love how Christina tastefully embellishes her cards.

Here we are just a few years ago when we first met. We enjoyed some craft shopping and each others humor. A very fun day with a sweet friend!

We have opened our monthly challenges now and it is Anything Goes so I hope you take part in them, always a prize for the lucky winner!

Wishing you a blessed day!

Totally Halloween

Hello and happy Tuesday!

This tag was made utilizing Ranger TH products-Mini Halloween cling stamps and crayons can be purchased from 7 kids shop.  I call it Totally Halloween.   The skeleton head was from TH Halloween Paper Stash, put a TH monocle over it and attached to the ribbon with a TH safety pin.  Ribbon colored using distress stains in twisted citron and wilted violet.

Did the stamping first with Ranger Jet Black Archival; went over tag with crazing.  Once crazing dried, used TH distressed crayons in carved pumpkin, black soot, twisted citron and wilted violet to add colors.  Cut the 31 from TH paper and put a fragment over top.

Had a lot of fun making this tag and utilizing so many stamps from one set.

Goodies used:

Happy Halloween,

Sandy

Strips and lantern stems

Hello hello and happy Friday.  Kerry here, I'm super excited to share a card using the Caravelle Studio Cling Stamps called Strips & Lantern's Stems. When I first saw this stamp set, I was in love with the beautiful funky flower stems.  Immediately I wanted to create a field of funky flowers.

And I did just that!   I started by creating the background with Tim Holtz distress paint in broken china, crushed olive, moved lawn, and salty ocean.

Then I added more colors by using the distress ink pad (using the same colors).  Then I stamped the beautiful lantern stems with Archival ink jet black.

And I also stamped the flower strips stamps using Archival ink in Garden Patina randomly on the bottom half of the card to create some interest.  Then, I distressed the edges with Tim Holtz distress ink in gathered twigs and seedless preserves.  I also added some butterflies by using Picket Fence distress ink pad & a blending tool from a stencil.  Next, I added some details by using a white gel pen and colored in some of the flowers.  I also added some Festive Fall Sequins mix along with some blings, and finished it up with splatter effects by using Prima color bloom mist in sunshine and lime wedge.

Hope you like it and thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great crafting day!

Rossi Belle by Prima

Hello my friends!  We have a nice variety of products for everyone to enjoy.  We have our design team together and now it is time to show you some examples of how to use some of the products we have.  I love canvases  and they are easy, not hard and very forgiving of mistakes.

This one I modge podged paper from Rossi Belle on, even tore strips. Some I planned so we can see their beauty.  After it was dry I had to put a bit of clear gesso onto the canvas around the papers so my paint would stick.

I am showing you the A4 size paper pad from Prima also I used and the 2 Distressed Crayons from Tim Holtz for the background.  I scribbled the crayons onto the white parts of the canvas and then wet them to blend.  So easy to apply and let dry. Then I used some black artesian powder from Prima to accent and darken it in spots.

Then I chose some flowers from the same collection Rossi Belle from Prima and glued them on. I also added the Emphemra package too, just glued it all on wherever I thought it would look good.

Here are the  Wycinanka Chipboard pieces that I used on the canvas. I embossed them with Stampendous Frantage in white and inked the plain parts with Tim Holtz Distressed Inks, Vintage Photo for contrast.

Here are the crayons on the edges of the canvas.

So I decided to give my canvas to a dear friend for her Wedding present.  She has waited a long time to marry her man, so deserved.

I hope you stop in the store through the links I gave you above to find the products I used on this canvas.  It is easy to assemble, and fun to make.
Have a great day!
